Constant flashing lights on throttle

This article is for the Kuberg Cross, Cross Hero, Trial, Trial Hero and Start.

‍Symptoms

• When the magnetic kill switch is attached, the lights on the throttle constantly flash and will not stop.
• The bike does not run

Testing

You can test this by unplugging it from the bike, the bike should turn on and run as normal in the mode last selected.
The mode select button connects to the throttle cable before connecting to the controller, you will have to carefully remove the heat wrap from the end of the mode select button before you can disconnect it.


If it is not possible to remove debris or grime from the button and its housing, or if the button still does not work after cleaning, the part will need to be replaced.
