48V charger not functioning - no L.E.Ds

This Article is for the Kuberg Freerider, Freerider street, Challenger and X-Force.

Make sure that you are following the correct charging procedure, you can find a copy of this in the manual that came with your bike, or you can download a digital copy at
https://www.kuberg.com/en/owners-manual

Symptoms of a broken charger.
  • The fan won't start when the charger is turned on
  • Neither L.E.D will turn on

If the charger behaves normally but they bike won't charge, or the charger flicks between on and off while charging, you may have an issue with the health of your battery.
To check this, please see "BMS issue"

Possible fixes
  • Depending on the model of your bike/charger, they may be a fuse slot on the charger, near the plug. Swapping this can sometimes resolve these issues.
  • We ship worldwide, so our chargers come with two options; 110V or 220V, please make sure that your charger is switched to the correct setting.
Although we try to send the chargers with the correct setting, sometimes it is not possible. To change the setting, flick the switch behind the slots by the fan inside the charger, you will be able to see the options between 110V and 220V
